Edwin Emerson reminiscences, 1954.

"Groves of Academe," reminscences of student days at Cornell and of President Jacob Gould Schurman, and Professors John Henry and Anna Botsford Comstock, George Lincoln Burr, E. E. Hale, and of fellow student Alexis Babine. Also, "Happy-Go-Lucky," story of his life at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from early summer 1887 to early summer 1888, probably written in the late 1940s.

Andrew Dousa Hepburn was born on November 14, 1830 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He received an A.B. degree from Jefferson College in 1851 and a D.D. degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1857. In that same year he married Henrietta McGuffey, daughter of noted author William Holmes McGuffey.
